Thanksgiving Day is coming very soon. This year as gun owners and freedom
fighters, we should thank God for the blessings we have been given. Now there
are the natural blessings of life, health, friends, job or being able to survive
temporarily without a job. This year we need to give thanks for our gains in the
fight for the 2nd Amendment.
We have seen more pro 2nd Amendment legislation passed and much anti legislation
defeated. We have seen a tremendous amount of firearms being bought and many
many new FOID card applications. Polls across the nation are showing more people
standing up for our right. I read one where it said 87% of the American people
believe the 2nd Amendment is an individual right and also more people favor less
gun control laws.
Ammo became very serious in shortages across the United States. This doesn’t
mean people are going crazy—it means more people are concerned that the right
will be legislated out of existence! It shows that many more people are
concerned. They have seen that all the gun control laws have failed to cut crime
rates and at the same time have seen crime rate go down because of CCW and
because of availability of law abiding people to arm themselves. Facts have
proven our side of the coin is the one that works!
We should give thanks that the Liberal Democrats have seen that pushing for gun
control has caused loss of votes and loss of their seats in Congress. They may
still try to pull some rabbit out of the hat now and then, but give thanks that
the law abiding people in this land have spoken up the minute they try it.
Yes give thanks for all this turnaround in our great land, that people realize
if we do not protect the Constitution, we will lose the Constitution! Town hall
meetings have shown that our Congressmen have awakened a sleeping giant! That
giant is getting very active and very vocal. It’s our turn to change from always
being on the defensive to the offensive side!
So please as you enjoy that dinner this year, remember to give God thanks for
the people He has drawn to our side to keep that very important document intact!
United we stand—without you we fall!
I would like to wish all our friends out there a very blessed Thanksgiving!.
Remember our fighting men & women who won’t be home for this holiday. I will
remember all of you that day in my prayers!
